Antique solid oak foot stool signed Plail Brothers of Wayland, N. With a partial label on the underside.Dates to the very early 1900s in the Arts & Crafts Period of which Plail Brothers was among the highest quality makers. Arched sides and thick legs that taper smaller as they go up. Measures 15" by 15" by 9-1/2 tall. Very sturdy and heavy for its size (over 9 lbs). Has normal wear including scratches, worn edges, and checking.
